WORDS AND DATA ALONE CANNOT SHOW YOU THE UNIQUENESS AND QUALITY OF ADEKA ULTRA SEAL WATERSTOPS.
Nearly every competitive hydrophilic product has some positive qualities. The question is, what are the differences between waterstops and Which ONE will best serve your interests? We issue a challenge or a hope that you will not take our word about our quality but that you will find out for yourself. We ask you to gather samples of as many different hydrophilic waterstops as possible and run a few "kitchen table" experiments with them. Do a few simple comparisons. Try the following:
1. Soak samples of waterstop in water for 30 days. Visually check physical condition. Measure the sample. The condition of the waterstop will give you an indication of its structural integrity.
2. Remove the samples from water and freeze.
3. Bend or flex frozen waterstops. How the waterstops act in a frozen condition indicates how the water is held in the waterstop. Is it like a sponge? Or is it in a finely dispersed molecular condition? If it breaks, it is holding water like a sponge. If it does not lose its flexability, the water is in a finely dispersed molecular condition.
4. Dry samples for several days. Note the condition of dried the sample. Has it become hard? shriveled? disintegrated? The physical condition will again demonstrate the structural strength of the waterstop
5. Resoak samples for several days. Does the waterstop expand again? Does it expand to its orginal hydrated size?
These are not complex tests. If you are relying on a waterstop to perform and you want the waterstop to last for a long time, the above simple tests will help you make the decision. Give Adeka Ultra Seal a good comparison with any other waterstop. |
